alright guys, how are you doing today? i feel like i do actually make some progress on my thesis, although there's still quite some work to do until i can call myself an ex-student :-)
anyways, back to the topic i was talking about several days ago. The schnitzel! for those of you who have never tried it: you missed out on something... it's part of the german art of cooking, it's a high-end meal and it brings relief to hungry mouths... i love it!
and there's so much more to it than just the regular wiener schniztel (which is, oddly enough, said to be from austria) they say the origin of the schnitzel lies in austria, which could be true, but everyone knows that it was the germans that truly made it to what it is today...
anyways, i just love the immense variety of ways you can prepare it. jaegerschnitzel, zigeunerschnitzel, holsteinschnitzel, schnitzel cordon bleu, pepperschnitzel, just to name a few!
i proudly own a recipe book which is dedicated to schnitzel only! i cannot wait to introduce my canadian friends to the german haute cuisine!
Ich liebe schnitzel!
