here i am back in vancouver after a great 5 days in victoria. heidi and i arrived thursday to help preparing the property for grace camp 2010, a big event with over 100 people of every age group that wanted to hear about the grace of god. guest speaker steve mcvey of atlanta gave some interesting insights on how graceful our god is and how powerful his love for us can be and how it affects our live in a positive way.
i enjoyed both meeting numerous people during this weekend and helping out where i could to make this event a special one and to take some weight off of bev and jan egil's shoulder.
monday was the day to relax after this exciting weekend. i almost forgot how great it can be just to be lazy and hang out i front of the tv and the wii. monday night, we pre-celebrated lisa's birthday on her last day of being a teenager with delicious roast and potatoes. surprisingly, we even had some sparkling wine to go with her birthday cake :-)
tuesday (her "real birthday), we went ziplining with some friends of hers in sooke. that was a great experience, we had so much fun and the rain couldnt even bother us.
now i'm back in vancouver and continue my hunt for a job...
