the grandest stage of them all...

... not so impressive this year! i'm glad i didn't pay for this year's wrestlemania to see on pay-per-view! 

moday morning i found it on youtube and i gotta admit, i was somewhat disappointed by the show... some short irrelevant matches full of botches, no tension created by the wrestlers and the crowd was super quiet for the most part of the show. i don't wanna go through all the matches as i know, most of my followers (if i have any at all...) are not too big into wrestling. in fact, i'm wondering if i should keep foolowing it regularly in the future.

the only memorable mania moment was when shawn michaels lost to the undertaker. i really thought he could end taker's streak, but conversely, taker ended hbk's career after 20plus years. what a moving end to the show! it made up for the dull and boring matches that took place before! 

the following night, michaels gave a heartmoving farewell speech on monday night raw. you could tell he was honest, grateful for everything and his words came right from the bottom of his heart! nothig scripted there, just pure emotions running wild! i know wrestling is fake, but it's still entertainment. and shawn michaels was one heck of an entertainer both in and outside the ring! i'm thankful for all the great memories and the fun i had following his career!

and now i'll stop being sentimental!!
